 COMPAS ORCHESTRAは、2007年スタジオコンパス・オーナーの（故）大友氏の肝いりでハウスビッグバンドとして結成しました。

（故）オーナーの願望であった「・・限りなくプロに近いアマチュアバンドを・・」目指して活動を続けています。

スタンダード・ジャズを中心にスイングからモダン・ビッグバンド

まで挑戦しています。

活動拠点は宮城県仙台市を中心に、定禅寺ジャズフェス等をはじめ多くのイベントに参加しています。

COMPAS ORCHESTRA was formed as a house big band in 2007 with the support of the late Studio Compass owner Mr. Otomo.
We continue to work toward the owner's desire to create an amateur band that is as close to professional as possible.
Mainly standard jazz, swing to modern big band
we are trying until now.
Our activities are centered around Sendai City, Miyagi Prefecture, and we participate in many events including the Jozenji Jazz Festival.
